§ Origin
No. 01 / 05

For the Delta, the river is not a backdrop. It is the calendar, the road, the table, the witness — and once a year, it becomes the stage.

Bini Riva Life is a renaissance celebration of the people, communities and traditions of the Bini river country. Born from the Legacy of Traditions initiative, the festival gathers five acts — fishing, ceremony, art, sport and feast — and lays them along three days of water.

We move between Koko, Ogheye and Oboghoro. We open with cast-nets at sunrise and close beneath kite-light and lantern smoke. What you witness here is not a performance about the river. It is the river's own work, made visible.

§ Programme

Five acts,
three days,
one river.

Each act is held at a different river community. Travel between sites is part of the offering — slow, by water and by road.
